Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the BIZ15 app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by freeweb (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
  • The time spent on the Application
  • The operating system and version you use on your mobile device
  • Device model and application version
  • Device unique identifier (for device authentication and unauthorized access prevention)

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Information Stored Locally

The Application stores the following information locally on your device. This data is stored only on the device and is not transmitted to external servers.

  • Display name (user setting)
  • Learning progress data (completed lessons, earned experience points (XP), study streaks)
  • Review data (phrase mastery level, spaced repetition schedule)
  • Daily study count

Information Sent via AI Features

When you use the Application's AI chat feature, the following information is sent to the OpenAI API service and used to generate AI responses:

  • Chat messages you enter
  • Current lesson content (as context)
  • Authentication token (Firebase ID token)

Data is sent to the AI service only when you voluntarily initiate the AI chat feature. The AI feature does not automatically send data during regular learning activities.

2. Third-Party Services

This Application uses Google Analytics 4 (Firebase Analytics) and Google AdMob for advertising delivery and usage analytics, and may automatically collect user information. Additionally, the following third-party services are used for service quality improvement and security purposes.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Firebase Analytics)
    Used for analyzing application usage. Device information, app usage patterns, session data, and similar information are collected automatically.

  • Google AdMob
    Used for displaying advertisements within the Application. Advertising identifiers may be used to show personalized ads. You can manage ad personalization settings through your device settings.

  • Firebase Authentication
    Used for device authentication. Anonymous authentication is performed using a device unique identifier to prevent unauthorized access and ensure security. No personal information (such as email address or phone number) is required.

  • OpenAI
    Used for generating responses in the in-app AI chat feature. Your chat messages and lesson context are sent to the OpenAI API.

  • Firestore (Cloud Data Storage)
    Used to store your learning data (user settings, progress, scores, learning history) in the cloud. This enables data synchronization across multiple devices and data backup.

Please refer to the links above for the privacy policies of each third-party service. These services handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • With their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

4. Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

Locally stored data (learning progress, settings, etc.) will be deleted from your device when you uninstall the Application. Cloud-stored data will be deleted within a reasonable period after receiving a deletion request.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

5. Your Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

You also have the following rights:

  • Right to Information Disclosure: You may request disclosure of your personal information held by the Service Provider.
  • Right to Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your data stored in the cloud.
  • Right to Opt Out of Ad Personalization: You can disable ad tracking (opt out) through your device settings.

To exercise these rights, please contact the Service Provider via email at the address below. The Service Provider will respond within a reasonable time.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (eerf0309+biz15@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

7. Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

9. Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
